BQF Excellence Model User Group

At this event, run in partnership with North of England Excellence, we will hear about the use of the Excellence Model in two very different organisations. Firstly, how the Canal and River Trust, until recently British Waterways, is using the Model's principles as a strategic framework for governance, performance and risk management in taking care of 2,000 miles of waterways in England and Wales.
Then we will hear about the journey to Excellence and future plans of Bishop Burton College, winner of the UK Excellence Award in 2011. As one of the country's finest land-based colleges, Bishop Burton is the only College in the UK to hold Centre of Vocational Excellence status in both Agriculture and Equine.
